She has more than 1,200 cabins and is one of six identical sister ships, numbered from 1 to 6. The name 'Mein Schiff' means 'My Ship' in English.

According to Cruise and Travel: "Life on board the ship is very relaxed, with lots of room to retreat, as well as spa areas, excellent dining and Finnish saunas."

More than 80% of the cabins have a balcony and the Himmel and Meer Suites are two-storey. The highest floor is a private roof terrace with sun beds.

After her stay in Liverpool, the ship's next stop will be Southampton on May 18, before she returns to Bremerhaven.
