Giant Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip head sculptures for sale on Facebook

A unique pair of 12ft-tall statues of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's heads are up for sale on Facebook.

Originally purchased from the shopping channel QVC and intended to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee in 2012, the bizarre statues have been listed for sale by Windsor resident Ben Inglis.

His grandfather bought the statues back in 2012 for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee. Ben wants £2,000 for the giant busts, and states that they would be great for "turning heads or advertising" and is open to "sensible offers".

The statues are on a frame so can be mounted onto a trailer. Ben hopes the statues will find a special home, preferably within his area, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead - which is also home to Windsor Castle.
