Gigantic padding pool beach is opening 45 minutes from Birmingham as owners say 'it's the ultimate'

Get ready for some serious holiday vibes! A beach with two gigantic paddling pools is opening this summer, giving families the chance to have fun in the sun.

'Farmarama' is coming to the National Forest Adventure Farm - the place that has brought us the Mega Slide Mountain over the last couple of summers. The good news is the ginormous slide is back too. Read our mega slide review here.

The 10 metre square pools will have a real seaside feel complete with deckchairs, ice-cream, seaside shows and daily foam parties. Little ones will also have a smaller pool just for them. Also, new for 2024 is live entertainment in the Deer Barn music venue and Funk on the Farm family barbecue and firepit evenings.

The Staffordshire farm park, based in Burton, has a large maize maze to explore, colourful sand art activities, tractor and barrel rides, indoor play and animals to meet. You can also enjoy unlimited fairground rides and play on the jumping pillows, go karts, adventure golf and assault course. The 200ft mega slide is suitable for anyone over 90cm - and brave enough to take on the challenge!

Farmarama runs throughout the summer holidays from July 20 to September 2. Tickets are available to book now via the National Forest Adventure Farm website - and there's a special offer where you can double your fun by returning for free.

A spokesman said: "Join us as we bring the beach to Burton. This summer, we will be hosting the ultimate beach party with gigantic paddling pools and a huge sand area to make the farm the best beach going.

"Each day we will be hosting fun seaside shows, super sand art, the huge maize maze and last but not least – the fabulous foam party. Don’t forget, you will also have access to the rest of the farm including the amazing indoor soft play, the outdoor adventure zones, the animal barn & paddocks as well as our tractor & barrel rides."

English singer-songwriter Mim Grey, who was described by musical legend Tom Jones as 'his favourite singer", will launch the first of the farm’s live music nights at The Deer Barn on July 11. Then there will be two outdoor Funk on the Farm evenings on August 17 and 31 where families can enjoy acoustic music, barbecue, bar and firepit seating areas after exploring all the fun activities and attractions.
