Gigi Hadid Closes Miu Miu Fashion Show Wearing Neon Band-Aids on Her Toes: 'This Is a Gift'

Miu Miu designers Miuccia Prada and Fabio Zambernardi sent their models down the runway in an unexpected accessory

Gigi Hadid was given the gift of Band-Aids on the final day of Paris Fashion Week.

After walking for the likes of Versace and Boss in Milan, the supermodel and entrepreneur, 28, brought her signature strut to the City of Lights, where she capped off her sartorial schedule at the Spring/Summer 2024 Miu Miu show.

The Guest in Residence founder and creative director closed out Tuesday’s presentation in thong sandals with braided detailing — and an exposed selection of blue, orange and neon yellow plasters wrapped around her toes and the arches of her feet.

After the show, Hadid told Dazed that the item was her “favorite thing.”

“This is a gift on the last day of fashion month,” she said while filming a TikTok video for the publication. “They gave us Band-Aids that we’re allowed to show. It’s so sweet and kind. It’s the best day ever.”

For the average viewer, it may have looked as though Hadid wore the adhesive bandages to protect a cut or blister of some sort. However, multiple Miu Miu models were decorated with the colorful Band-Aids, which suggests they were intentionally added to the looks to maybe put focus on the conditions models — particularly their feet — are put through during Fashion Week.

It’s undeniable that the bottom half of Hadid’s outfit stole the show. However, her embellished oversize blazer and matching pleated skirt were just as statement-making.

Every time Hadid takes on the catwalk, she proves she’s a pro at what she does and she recently shared some of her expertise with a new model on the scene — Natalia Bryant!

In a video shared to Vogue’s Instagram account taken backstage at the Versace show, which marked Bryant’s runway debut, the 20-year-old — who’s the daughter of Vanessa Bryant and the late NBA star Kobe Bryant — carefully listens to Hadid as she advices her to “just try to take in the moment and let yourself remember it."

And aside from reminding Bryant to walk fast during rehearsals, Hadid shared some words of encouragement. “You're gonna be great. I love you! I'm so proud of you I’m gonna cry," she told the rising star.
