Giovanna Fletcher knows husband Tom won’t become victim to the Strictly curse

Giovanna Fletcher says she has no fear that her husband Tom Fletcher will become victim to the Strictly Come Dancing curse and cheat on her.

Many contestants of the hit BBC show have become the object of speculation from fans that they might become more than just dance partners as they spend long days training together.

However, Giovanna is confident Tom would never be unfaithful.

In a column for the Daily Telegraph describing her daily life with her partner, the author revealed that Dowden is already part of the family.

“We both adore Amy, she’s so lovely and kind,” wrote Fletcher.

“I don’t believe in the Strictly curse,” she stated, and insisted that “life happens, relationships break up and it’s not something I worry about.”

“Besides, my husband is in a band, if he wanted to cheat on me, he’d have done it long ago.”

Giovanna, who is best known for her novels as well as the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, went on to reveal that Tom had been asked to do Strictly before “but it has never been the right time”.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner and the McFly frontman have been together since they were teenagers, marrying in 2012.

Together they share three children: Buzz, seven, Buddy, five, and Max, three.

Speaking about how their relationship has held up over 23 years, Giovanna admitted it wasn’t “all plain sailing and rosy”.

Though Tom has been making her feel happy and joyful since the day they met: “That’s never gone, I felt that when I was 13 and I still feel that today.”

As for what the two celebrities’ daily life looks like, Giovanna revealed that she still makes Tom a smoothie every morning at that every night they share a glass of wine, snuggle up on the sofa and catch each other up about their day.
