Girls Aloud got an special delivery they definitely didn't expect when they arrived in Dublin for opening night of their reunion tour, with a bouquet of flowers from an Irish music legend coming complete with a letter that included a tribute to late star Sarah Harding.

It was back in November that the Brit winners, after a lot of speculation, announced that they'd be hitting the road for the first time since the end of their Ten tour in 2013, with extra dates having to be added before they'd gone on general sale, due to massive demand for tickets. The Show tour will take Cheryl, Nadine, Kimberley and Nicola all over the UK and Ireland, with it all starting at Dublin's 3Arena on May 17.

And, having jetting over to Ireland on Thursday evening, there was a surprise gift for Girls Aloud when they arrived at the venue - a bouquet from none other than U2 icon Bono. The band shared a photo of the flowers and the accompanying note that came with them in a post on their Instagram story.

In the hours leading up opening night, there was a lot of rumours as to which songs would be on the Girls Aloud setlist, with a 'leaked' version online including old album tracks like Girls Allowed, Girl Overboard and Swinging London Town, with the list starting with Something New and ending with Sound of the Underground.
