Girls Aloud have sent their fans into frenzy by dropping a few hints on what to expect from the setlist for their upcoming reunion tour.

After a lot of speculation that something big was on the horizon, Girls Aloud announced near the end of last year they were coming back as a four piece, 22 years after being formed on Popstars: The Rivals and after the death of bandmate Sarah Harding in 2021, after her battle with cancer.

Tickets for many of the reunion concerts were snapped up straight away, meaning extra dates were added, with them now doing multiple dates at many arenas across the UK and Ireland, including three nights in a row at Newcastle's Utilita Arena. The Girls Aloud Show tour gets going in Dublin on May 17 and the Brit winners have now gone on the record about what their legions of fans can expect from the performances.

Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 2 on Thursday, April 11, the group were asked, that with many smash hits at their disposal, if they would do any covers, to which Cheryl replied: "Do you know what? I've said that! I've said it several times, people like it!" Appearing to take a completely different stance, Nadine Coyle told Scott: "I was dead against it I'm like, we've got so many songs of Girls Aloud as our own, why do we need to?"

Nicola Roberts waded into suggest that the band bring back some much loved album tracks for the tour, commenting: "Would you not prefer us to do Girl Overboard or Miss You Bow Wow?" And Graffiti My Soul!" with Cheryl quipping: "Guys! I think we should do it all!"

Girls Aloud fans got an early treat before the tour with the release of a bumper edition of the What Will The Neighbours Say album on CD and vinyl, which included their version of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, which was all set to be released as a single, before being shelved.
