Michelle Keegan debuted a brand new look while promoting her upcoming comedy drama series Brassic in Manchester on Tuesday night.

The former Coronation Street star joined her castmates during the red carpet screening held at Manchester Printworks' Vue Cinema and showed off hew fringe. Alongside her shiny locks, Keegan kept things relatively casual as she wore a plain white vest top, slouchy black dungarees and and trainers.

She added a gold watch and sunflower pendant necklace to complete the ensemble.

Also starring Preacher's Joseph Gilgun and Being Human's Damien Molony, Brassic centres around working class pals Vinnie and Dylan, who have been inseparable since they met each other as children.

But their friendship is put to the test when Dylan's girlfriend Erin (Keegan) tells him she wants to move away from Lancashire in search of a better life for themselves and their son, Tyler.

Newbies Tom Hanson and Parth Thakerar, Plebs star Ryan Sampson, Vikings actor Darren Cahill and Emmerdale's John Weaver round out the cast of friends who have "dealt, scammed, bribed and conned their way through adolescence.

"But now, on the brink of adulthood, their dealing and stealing is catching up with them and a whole load of trouble is heading their way."

According to BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst, the show promises a "distinct northern flavour."

Keegan recently wrapped filming on the fourth season of military drama Our Girl. It's expected to air on BBC One in 2020.

Brassic premieres on Sky One on Thursday 22 August at 10pm. All six episodes will be available on Sky Boxsets and NOW TV from that same date.
