A busker was performing in the city centre when an opera group who found fame on the X Factor walked past - and joined in offering a mesmerising performance.

The Opera Guy, who has 24,000 followers on Facebook, shared a video on Wednesday as he was joined by British vocal troupe G4.

Jonathan Ansell, Duncan Sandilands, Jai McDowall and Mike Christie had just finished an interview at Heart when they came across the local singer and decided to join in on the fun.

Midway through the performance, Jonathan tells the crowd: "It's not every day you're walking down the street... we've just had an interview at Heart... we're G4, this is The Opera Guy and we are thrilled to share this song with you here today Glasgow."

The show carried on before a powerful note is hit at the end by all five singers. The Opera Guy, beaming with pride, then thanks the crowd for watching.
