Glasgow weather warnings still in force as city braced for more wind and snow
Glasgow is still under two weather warnings from the Met Office for strong winds, snow and ice following Storm Eowyn.
The storm brought severe disruption to much of central Scotland on Friday, January 24, with 100mph winds battering the country, leading to trains, planes and buses all being cancelled.
A rare "danger to life" red weather warning was issued for Glasgow, which saw gusts reach nearly 90mph, causing damage to buildings across the city.

And despite the worst of the weather now behind us, two weather warnings remain in force for the city.
The first is a yellow warning for wind, which is in force until 3pm on Saturday, January 25.
According to the Met Office, wind gusts of 60mph are likely inland, but should ease throughout the day.
The warning reads: "Strong westerly winds will persist through the first part of Saturday as Storm Éowyn moves away to the northeast, with gusts of 50-60 mph inland and 60-70 mph on some exposed coasts and hills.
"There is a chance of 70-80 mph gusts across the Northern Isles for a time.
"Winds will ease across southern parts of the warning area during the early hours of Saturday, and this easing in wind strength will extend northwards through the day on Saturday."
Meanwhile, a separate yellow weather warning for snow and ice is in force until 11am.

Forecasters say snow showers will affect parts of the country overnight and into Sunday morning, with icy stretches likely to form.
The warning reads: "Snow showers will continue to affect Scotland overnight into Saturday morning.
"Snow accumulations will mainly be confined to high ground, above roughly 200 metres, where 5-10 cm could develop in places.
"Ice will be a more significant hazard with icy stretches forming on untreated surfaces as temperatures fall below freezing."
The Met Office has warned that drivers face disruption and face "dangerous" conditions due to the wintry weather.
