It's the last day of Glastonbury Festival 2024 and already revellers are day dreaming about who they want to see next year. With Coldplay still ringing in their ears and SZA yet to come, our reporter on the scene tasked Glastonbury attendees to pick their dream headliner for next year.

The results may surprise you, as many didn't pick acts who had appeared this year. It appears that many of the music buffs are yearning for a bit of nostalgia.

We'll have to hope Michael and Emily Eavis spot this and get to work pronto, but they might need deep pockets to book some of these acts. Read on to see which acts Glastonbury 2024 revellers want to see at next year's event.

One fan said: "Doja Cat, Britney Spears, Madonna - she could come out of retirement for Glastonbury I'm sure. She could play all the classics - Material Girl, something you can have a dance to. Rhianna, she doesn't come over here much."

Another dreamed: "This year has been good, I like the mix - there's something for everyone. It wasn't what I would have picked, but I'm sure for others this would be their dream."

A third added: "Rhianna, Eminem, Rhiana and Eminem? Like a double set, oh my God, imagine! I like his old tunes, they're really good - that would be unreal, a dream come true there.

"Dream slot, Sunday afternoon pyramid stage, the Black Keys, Rhianan, then Eminem - and Dr Dre!"

Another added: "ACDC, Beyonce. Maybe she's too famous, I don't know."

A fourth said: "It's hard because there's been so many already, they're running out of huge artists. We always discuss the best legend, who could be the legend act - and we think Brian Adams could be a legend. I don't think he's every played before, he could be a good one for the Legend slot.

"I thought this year was great, there's a lot of good new music. There's a lot of bands I've seen before but it's a great lineup for me personally. I had such a good Friday, I saw Olivia Dene, Remi Wolf. She tore it up and then we came and watched aurora and her voice is just incredible. In the evening I watched Jungle, their last album was great.

"This guy wants Celine Dion, he'd love her to sing My Heart Will Go On. That's my favourite, or maybe I'm Alive from Stuart Little. I've not seen it but it's an absolute banger."
