Glastonbury fans convinced Britney Spears is joining Elton John on stage
The Rocketman singer will be joined by four 'collaborators' at the festival
Britney Spears fans are convinced she is going to join Sir Elton John on stage at Glastonbury, saying they will “self-combust” if she does.
The Rocketman’s husband David Furnish sent the rumour mill into overdrive when he teased that the chart-topper would be joined by four others when he headlines the festival in Somerset on Sunday, 25 June.
He told Sky News that Elton would be joined by "four collaborators of his choosing" but that he was sworn to secrecy about who they were.

Fans have been speculating about who it might be, with Spears and Harry Styles thought to be strong possibilities.
Adding weight to the theory that Spears will perform is the fact that she teamed up with Elton for her comeback song Hold Me Closer last year.
One person tweeted that if Spears were to perform on the Pyramid Stage it would be “one for the history books”.
“There are rumours that Elton John will bring out Britney on Sunday and if that happens I will collapse,” said another.
One posted: “The chances of it happening are beyond slim but honestly if @eltonofficial brings out Britney Jean Spears at Glastonbury I may self-combust into a ball of glitter and booze.”
“Britney at Glasto would shake the world, though...” said somebody else, while one said it would be a “colossal show”.
Others admitted they would be “gutted” if Spears did perform and they didn’t have tickets.
Other contenders include Rocket Man star Taron Egerton, his 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' duet partner Kiki Dee, or Axl Rose with whom he has duetted with before and is also on the Glasto bill.
Elton’s isn’t the only mystery rumbling on at Glasto, with an act on the bill called The ChurnUps leaving fans baffled.

The ChurnUps are listed for a prime-time slot on the main Pyramid Stage but as nobody knows anything about them it’s thought the name is a cover for a secret act, with Foo Fighters thought to be the most likely.
