Glastonbury revellers heading home from the festival revealed they had a hard time getting back on board a "cursed" coach.

From a driver who "had a tantrum" to a luggage error and replacement bus, those heading back from Somerset following the end of the five-day music festival were less than impressed with their trip home. Those on a bus bound for Manchester have since revealed the horrors of their drive home which had the driver refuse to continue the journey.

A post to Twitter/X revealed the extent of the trip, with one user explaining their horror bus route. They wrote: "When we were leaving Glasto our coach driver was told under no circumstance to open the luggage hold until we got to Manchester.

"He opened it at the services and it's fallen off, then he had a tantrum saying he doesn't want to drive anymore and has just walked off. After 2 hours we're on a replacement coach but with the same driver who kept saying 'focus' to himself before we set off, definitely not going to crash at all."

The horrors continued as the bus driver then apparently asked passengers for directions back to Manchester, with the coach driver having a blinder of a time - leaving his passengers furious. The Twitter/X thread continued: "The coach driver has just asked a girl to Google Maps 'Manchester' for him."

They also included a photo of the "cursed coach" in the viral thread which has seen other Glastonbury attendees complain of similar issues with coaches booked to Manchester. One user wrote: "Our coach to Manchester had a driver that had engineered his breaks so he had to stop at Knutsford and couldn't go any further. Already stopped twice at services and took an 'accidental' detour part the way to Cardiff. Luckily the firm had a replacement."

Another user was full of praise for the driver they had back in 2022, with their driver stopping at nothing to get festival goers to the five-day trip. They wrote: "When I took the coach to Glasto in 2022, our coach driver clipped a tree and knocked his massive wing mirror clean off and completely smashed the windscreen but he didn't stop, just kept driving all the way to Glasto. Absolute hero."

The coach company, which we have chosen not to name, has been approached for comment.
