Sharing the news via the Glow Up Instagram account, the show revealed that Trixie Mattel would be appearing on the show alongside several famous make-up artists. "Introducing the Glow Up Series 5 guest judges," the caption read.
"Expect to see famous faces such as Patrick Ta, Vanessa Davis, Trixie Mattel, Hrush and many more!"
The post also confirmed that the show would be back on our screens very soon, premiering on BBC Three and iPlayer on Tuesday, May 2.
Mattel found fame on season seven of RuPaul's Drag Race before being crowned as victor of the third season of the All Stars spin-off.
Season five of Glow Up will see the show's challenges be bigger and better than ever, with contestants creating looks for Netflix period drama Bridgerton and prosthetics for BBC comedy series Ghosts as well as working together on a beauty campaign.
Last year, Mattel revealed that she would no longer be appearing as a contestant on Drag Race shows, after making the transition to a judge.
"I love judging," she told Insider following her work on Paramount+ series Queen of the Universe.
"I mean, making fun of Leona Lewis, Vanessa Williams, Michelle [Visage], and Graham [Norton] to their faces all day? They're fun people to mess around with and then the talent is so ridiculous."
Season 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star are available to stream on BBC iPlayer now. Season 5 is set to air later in 2023.
