Yahoo News GMB's Susanna reveals off-camera Piers feud when they first worked together
Inexplicably, Susanna Reid actually gets along with her Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan, despite him being... well, Piers Morgan.
But they didn't actually get along when they first started working together, although Susanna admitted this was more down to online trolls rather than Piers himself.
Speaking to the Daily Mail's Event magazine (via the Express), Susanna said: "I couldn’t believe I was getting attacked for what he actually said.
"People were saying horrific things about me, saying I wasn't a feminist… I found the whole thing deeply upsetting.
"He is the most irritating man in the world, but I'm a professional. I can work with anyone, but it was a shock to the system, and I did find it difficult to sit there trying to be neutral in my opinions while Piers spouted forth about whatever he thought, and then I would be attacked for it."
Susanna explained that, in order to clear the air between them, they went on a night out and got very drunk together.
Now they are good friends, even when Piers does stupid things like pretending a vegan sausage roll was making him sick.
