Yahoo News Gogglebox's Jenny and Lee react to viral meme
Gogglebox stars Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have shared their reaction to a viral meme of themselves.
The reality TV stars, best known for appearing together on the hit Channel 4 television show, reposted a meme featuring themselves on their joint Instagram page, which compared them to British Prime Minister and Labour leader Keir Starmer.
"The moment you realise these two combined..... are in fact this man," the meme states, transitioning from a photo of Jenny and Lee to Starmer.

"Really," reacted Jenny and Lee, reposting the meme with multiple laughing face emojis in the caption.
Jenny and Lee's followers also saw the funny side agreeing with the photo comparison made in the meme.
"I can’t unsee it" commented one user, with another writing on the post: "FFS I will just see this now when I watch Gogglebox."

Jenny and Lee joined the Gogglebox cast in 2014 and have appeared on the sofa ever since, becoming long-standing fan-favourites. The duo's friendship however began much sooner. Their paths first crossed in the early 1990s, when Lee was a regular customer at Jenny's pub.
In June, Lee shared a birthday tribute to his pal posting a throwback photo of the two back in the day. "How many years ago was this picture wow," read his caption. "Wishing my best friend Jenny a happy 69th birthday, much love always Lee."
Jenny and Lee carry out their Gogglebox filming in Lee's caravan in Hull, which he shares with his long-term partner Steve. Meanwhile, Jenny lives nearby in a home she shares with husband Ray.
Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4 and is available to stream on demand after.
