Gogglebox’s Stephen Webb Gets Engaged

Gogglebox star Stephen Webb has got engaged to boyfriend Daniel Lustig—just months after co-star and best friend Chris Steed announced his engagement.

Stephen, 44, popped the question to Daniel during a romantic getaway to India last week.

He posted on Twitter: “I asked the lovely @lustig75 to marry me in the beautiful surroundings of the Oberio hotel in Agra, and he said yes (sic)” Awwww!

Stephen admitted “it was love at first sight” when he met Daniel, 40, in a queue in Brighton.

The Gogglebox star’s new fiance said the proposal was incredibly romantic as Stephen whipped out the engagement ring while taking a picture of the Taj Mahal.

“As I was taking the picture Stephen extended his hands out and asked me to zoom in.

"I was in complete shock as I saw the ring and heard the words, ‘I love you will you marry me?' “

Daniel added to The Sun: "It was all so romantic, the best day of my life!”

Stephen and pal Chris have been on Gogglebox since it started. They initially dated but settled on being friends.

Hairdresser Chris got engaged to his partner Tony last year during a getaway to Paris.
