Golden Globes Scorecards: Nominations By Movie & TV Distributors

Movies and TV programs from studios under the umbrellas of Warner Bros Discovery and Disney and streamer Netflix paced the field in Monday’s Golden Globes nominations.

Warner Bros Discovery touted 35 nominations across the motion picture and television categories this morning, with the company housing the most-nominated movie with Barbie (via Warner Bros) and TV program with Succession (via HBO | Max).

Netflix had a total of 28 noms, helped by Maestro‘s and May December’s four noms apiece and The Crown and Beef‘s four noms and three noms, respectively, in the TV categories.

Disney, repped by labels including Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, FX, FX Productions, Hulu Originals, Marvel Studios, ABC, Pixar Animation Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Studios, counted 27 noms overall. The Bear and Only Murders In the Building scored five noms apiece to help Disney’s cause.

Netflix and Warner Bros finished 1-2 in the movie distributor rankings, while HBO | Max led all labels overall with 17 nominations, finishing above Netflix in the TV rankings. A24 and Universal tied for second in movies with 11 noms apiece.

Other entitles seeing multiple noms today across both film and TV include NBCUniversal (Universal, Focus Features, Peacock), Paramount Global (Paramount Pictures and Paramount+), Amazon (Amazon MGM Studios, Prime Video, Amazon Freevee) and Apple TV+.
