'Golf Ball-Size Hail' Pelts Down in Michigan

What was described as “golf ball-size hail” hammered down in Michigan, as the National Weather Service warned of severe thunderstorms, isolated tornadoes, and frequent lightning on September 7.

Logan May said this footage showed the scene from inside his truck on Interstate 31 near Ludington. He said he was “glad to have a strong roof” over his head, but that his windshield would need replacing.
