Golfer Expertly Uses Slope to Nail Trick Shot

A golfer showed a deft touch to make an unorthodox putt at a course in Gerringong, New South Wales, sending his ball past the hole, then up and back down a slope before landing it in the cup.

Footage by Ross Johnston, who runs the @wavey.golf TikTok account with Lucas Gaha, shows Gaha showcasing his skill with the unique putt.

Speaking to Storyful, Johnston said Gaha hit the shot as a joke. “It was a bit of a joke because he was so close to the pin and hit it far away to get in,” he said.

Johnston shared the footage on TikTok, where the video has over 2.8 million views at the time of writing. Credit: Ross Johnston/wavey.golf via Storyful
