Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold scolded as ITV bosses snap 'move on' from racy remark
Richard Arnold, Good Morning Britain's entertainment correspondent, recently found himself in a bit of a pickle with ITV bosses during a segment about foot fetishes.
The topic of discussion was pop star Lily Allen's latest endeavour - selling provocative photos of her feet on a popular adult subscription site. The 39-year-old singer promoted her new page by sharing a link and humorously captioning it "la dolce feeta", while informing fans: "Soled Out, big time. Here's the link for my future Toe Daddies."
Arnold initiated the segment by stating: "Lily Allen is joining the world of OnlyFans. She claims she's just, and I quote, 'dipping her toes into the venture', which Lily later revealed is due to her pedicurist telling her she had a rare five-star rating on WikiFeet."
He proceeded to clarify that WikiFeet is a website where "users rate people's tootsies", adding: "Make of that what you will. I don't even know where to go with that."
Kate Garraway advised: "No, leave that hanging," but Adil Ray was brimming with questions. He queried: "So what, you subscribe to her channel to see pictures of her feet? Okay. Interesting," reports the Express.
To this, Arnold replied: "Let's move on, I'm being told. Remember, you do one day a week I have to be here every day!"
On her BBC podcast Miss Me?, Lily Allen disclosed that she has quite a following for her feet, proudly stating: "I have a lady that comes and does my nails. They informed me that I have five stars on WikiFeet, which is quite rare. My feet are rated quite highly on the internet."
The singer, in a light-hearted tone, discussed the possibility of profiting from her popular feet, saying: "She said that I could make a lot of money from selling foot content on OnlyFans. And I'm like, 'Not no.'" Lily even humorously suggested considering abandoning her podcast in favour of selling feet pictures full-time.
She also offered an amusing glimpse into her marriage with Stranger Things star David Harbour, revealing: "I wonder if I kink-shame my husband. Because he often asks for things, and I'm like, 'No babe, it's not happening.' I'm not like, 'You piece of sh**, how dare you ask me to do that!'"
Instead, she chooses a softer tactic: "I'm just like, 'Hmm, headache. Little headache, got a bit of a headache maybe not tonight.'"
