Good Trouble Sets Season 5B Premiere — Plus, Watch a Teaser (Featuring Callie and Jamie’s Big Day?)

Freeform will ring in the new year with the return of Good Trouble.

Season 5B of the Fosters spinoff will premiere Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 10/9c, the cable network announced on Monday.

The upcoming run finds the Coterie roommates facing “their toughest obstacles yet as they’re confronted with evolving relationship challenges and new career opportunities,” reads the official synopsis. “Through highs and lows, romance and heartbreak, The Coterie crew will lean on each other while they navigate the next stage of adulthood.” For a recap of where the show left off and star/executive producer Cierra Ramirez’s thoughts on that dramatic Mariana cliffhanger, click here.

Freeform also revealed that Ramirez will make her directorial debut with Episode 14.

Additionally, Freeform has set a Wednesday, Jan. 24 (at 10 pm) premiere date for the unscripted series Chrissy & Dave Dine Out, in which Chrissy Teigen and David Chang explore the Los Angeles restaurant scene alongside Joel Kim Booster.

“They will take viewers to must-try restaurants in Los Angeles that are unexpected and, at times, off the beaten path,” per the official description. “While David gets his hands dirty in the back of house with the restaurant’s chef, Chrissy and Joel will hold court in the front of house, hosting an always loose, unexpected and entertaining dinner party with undeniably delicious food and great conversation.”

Celebrity guests include Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, writer/producer Molly McNearney, John Legend, Kumail Nanjiani, Regina Hall and Simu Liu, among others.
