The Graham Norton Show premieres its 30th series on Friday, September 30 at 10.35pm.

Welcoming Hollywood and beyond's biggest names to his BBC One sofa as usual, the Irish host will be catching up with Oscar winner Rami Malek to talk all things Amsterdam – his new murder-mystery co-starring Margot Robbie, Christian Bale and John David Washington.

But he's just the tip of the iceberg, as Jamie Lee Curtis makes an appearance to promote her last-ever "scream queen" outing in Halloween Ends, too.

Pop music legend Robbie Williams is on hand to perform his latest single "Lost", while Lydia West (of It's a Sin fame) joins them to discuss her new thriller Inside Man.

What more can you ask for to kick off the weekend?

Before she joins Graham on the sofa, Total Film spoke to Laurie Strode actress Curtis about the next Halloween movie earlier this month.

On her unexpected final scene, she revealed how the non-sequential nature of the shoot meant that her character simply sits in a car as opposed to some brutal knife fight against Michael Myers.

"I realised that would be the last time I ever saw Laurie Strode. It was very powerful for me. I wept. David [Gordon Green, director] wept.

"We all recognised that moment, that it was the wrap for Laurie Strode and me. And this community of artists who made these movies. It was a big deal," she reflected.

Halloween Ends marks her seventh turn as the Haddonfield hero.

The Graham Norton Show returns to BBC One on 30 September.
