Grand National 2024 drinks prices include £7.50 pints, £13 cocktails and £46 bottles of prosecco
The Grand National 2024 gets underway this weekend with millions of people expected to place money on their favourite horses.
As well as the showcase event of the meeting which takes place Aintree in Merseyside on Saturday at 4pm, thousands of racegoers are expected to head to the racecourse between April 11-13.
Depending on how the races go, some will be celebrating while others will be commiserating with a drink in hand. And now the drinks prices for the annual event have been revealed, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The drink prices for 2024 range from £2.75 for a soft drink to £7.50 for a pint. However, there are multiple bars across the Aintree racecourse so drinks prices may vary depending on where you grab a refreshment, and your beverage of choice.
Compared to last year, some prices have gone up with a spirit now 75p more than in 2023. However, some prices have stabilised and come in at the same price in the case of a pint of Guinness and Madri.
Meanwhile, the price for a bottle of fizz has stayed around the same, with the price of a bottle of Via Vai Prosecco Brut (750ml) still £46. Currently, the cheapest bottle of Champagne is available for £85, which is up on last year, though other bars may provide cheaper alternatives.
A bottle of house white or red will set you back £37.50, whereas last year it was £34. And for a cocktail, you're looking at around £13 for a Pornstar Frozini, Espresso Martini or Strawberry Woo Woo.
This year some changes have been made to the structure of the Grand National. 34 runners will be selected to compete, instead of 40, in the four miles and two-and-a-half furlongs steeplechase, jumping a total of 30 fences in the hopes of making history.
According to the Grand National organisers, 94 horses were entered into the 2024 race, with the number gradually being reduced following the Cheltenham Festival.
The Grand National meeting begins tomorrow, Thursday, April 11 and lasts for three days, with the main event taking place at 4pm on Saturday, April 13.
