Grand National 2025 earlier dates announced

The Grand National is one of the biggest events in the Merseyside calendar.

The event is the world’s most famous race and the ultimate test for any racehorse, with 34 runners and riders bidding to immortalise themselves in British sporting history.

Whether you're a die-hard racing fan or simply stopping by to get glammed up for Ladies Day, it's not an occasion to be missed.

The Jockey Club has revealed the 2025 Grand National Festival will take place a week earlier, launching on Thursday April 3, followed by Ladies Day on Friday, April 4 and Grand National Day on Saturday, April 5.

The festival was originally scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 10.
