A Greenock fashion store is doing its bit for charity Children in Poverty Inverclyde

NEW Look in Greenock as adopted Children in Poverty Inverclyde as one of its charities.

The fashion store will be raising money for the charity as part of its annual fundraising programme.

Money will be raised from now until October.

Pat Burke, founder of the charity, said: "I am delighted that New Look have designated us as their Charity of the Year."

Customers will be able to give donations while paying for their goods and will also get the chance to find out more about the charity via a link to the its online page.

Mr Burke will be updated on how much has been raised midway through the programme and welcomes any donations, great or small from the local community.

Mr Burke would also like to thank the Regent Club for their generous donation of £1,000, which will help the charity continue with its good work.
