Greg Taylor insists Celtic's job hasn't changed in the wake of Rangers' shock title slip-ups.

Gers have collected just two points from nine after draws with Celts and Dundee, plus a shock defeat at Ross County. It leaves Philippe Clement's side three points adrift of the champions heading into the final five league games of the season. The momentum now seems to have swung in the Hoops' favour but experienced Taylor says the task at hand remains the same - win their remaining post-split fixtures.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen at Hampden, Taylor was asked about Rangers' stuttering form and said: "We want to be on top but we also know there are five league games left and when the league comes back around, we'll be focused on that. But for now, the focus has been fully on Aberdeen and this weekend's Scottish Cup."

When asked if Rangers' recent results have been discussed behind closed doors, he said: "I don't think it's something that's really discussed. Most focus is really on ourselves. But of course, you understand what's going about. You understand every team's results in our league but our predominant focus is on ourselves."

Taylor also dismissed Celtic gaining "breathing space" on their Old Firm rivals, adding: "I don't really take much notice of what other teams are doing. Results and performances across the other side of the city are for them to worry about.

"I don't think breathing space comes into it. You need to win five games if you want to win the title. That's been no different from two weeks ago. You want to finish strongly in every league game but as I say, the focus has really been on the Scottish Cup this week."
