Greggs could open new store in Arnold as planning application submitted
Greggs has submitted a planning application requesting to install signage at a new unit in Arnold town centre. The British bakery chain already has a store at 51 Front Street, but this application is for 38-40 Front Street, suggesting the business could be moving location.
In the application, the company requests permission to install one fascia sign and one projecting sign. Nottinghamshire Live contacted Greggs for a comment, but a spokesperson for the business confirmed they would not be commenting while the application process was live.
The attached detail drawing submitted to the council shows the existing shop elevation, and then the proposed shopfront elevation which has Greggs signage on the exterior. In addition to the current Greggs store on Front Street, there is also a Greggs on Sir John Robinson Way.
