One Flying Tiger employee said: "They came out a few weeks ago and put a new one [leak diverter] in to fix it, but it's still leaking and they've came out again since then, and it is still leaking."

A shop assistant at GAME told of their exasperation. They said: "They should fix the damn roof. It's leaking constantly. The leaks are everywhere on the shop floor and even out in the centre are just so unsightly."

A colleague added: "Ideally, and realistically, they need to replace the entire roof. Instead they are putting in this catchment bag system to redirect the water but it is just not the solution."

A spokesperson for Waverley Market said: "Waverley Market has a robust maintenance program which all tenants are aware of. If any leaks are identified and reported these are then dealt with, out of hours where possible to not affect retailers trading."
