Gwyneth Paltrow dishes on famous exes Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck after being asked who was ‘better in bed’
Gwyneth Paltrow has finally answered the question fans have been dying to know for years – who out of her exes was better, Brad Pitt or Ben Affleck?
The Sliding Doors actress and Goop founder, 50, began dating Pitt, 59, in 1994 and they even got engaged, but she called it off in 1997 because at aged 24, she felt she was too young for marriage. She went on to have a three-year relationship with Affleck, who is now 50, from 1997 until 2000.
Since then, Paltrow has been married twice – first to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares two children. Their union lasted from 2003 until their divorce was finalised in 2016.
Her second husband is Brad Falchuk, who she tied the knot with in 2018.
Paltrow was put on the spot in the latest episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast and didn’t hold back.
When asked who was best in the bedroom, she admitted: “That’s really hard. Because Brad was like the major chemistry love of your life at the time. And then Ben was like technically excellent.”
“I can’t believe my daughter’s listening to this,” she joked.
Asked who she regarded as the better actor of the two, she said: “They’re both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director.
“But I guess I would probably have to say acting alone, Brad. Because if you think of all the different roles that he’s done.”
The Oscar winner also spilled the beans on a series of other comparison questions such as “who had better style?”
“Probably Brad,” she said.
“Who was more romantic?”
“Who was more likely to make you laugh?”
“Who are you more likely to get into an argument with?”
“Who was more high maintenance?”
“I’m not sure I would characterise either of them as high maintenance.”
“Who cared more about their appearance?”
“I’m not sure. I feel like neither of them were very vain like that. I’m not attracted to guys who are like looking in the mirror the whole time.
“Although Ben did like have like a mirror face that he would throw at the mirror. I think he was joking though.”
“Who was the better kisser?”
“They were both good kissers”, she said.
