Gwyneth Paltrow Offers To Drive Robert Downey Junior To Meet Fan Battling Cancer

It’s always humbling when we see celebrities go above and beyond to put a smile on their fans’ faces, especially when it comes to fans who are suffering and one of their final wishes is to meet their favourite star.

Now Gwyneth Paltrow has taken it upon herself to help eighteen-year-old Ryan Wilcox meet the cast of his favourite films, Captain America and The Avengers, even offering to drive Robert Downey Junior and Chris Evans to San Diego for the trip.

What an absolutely brilliant gesture.

The actress first of all regrammed a photo of Ryan in his hospital bed alongside the caption: “This is Ryan Wilcox, he’s an 18 year old guy from San Diego battling cancer and he absolutely LOVES Captain America and the Avengers and what we want for Ryan if possible is to meet the actors and actresses of the Avengers, especially Chris Evans who plays Captain America.

"He isn’t doing too well and this would be a major way to boost his spirits and quite frankly be the best moment of his life if he literally got to meet his hero!

"Please share this to help get the attention of Chris, Robert, Scarlett, and the rest of the Avengers cast and try to make his dream come true! ‪#chrisevans #avengers #makeawish”.

Gwyneth added to the pic: “Hey @robertdowneyjr and #chrisevans, want to take a road trip? I will drive you guys down. #Repost @hizrarejwl with @repostapp.”

Robert is yet to respond to his Iron Man co-star’s request, but we have a feeling that Gwyneth is going to do everything in her power to make Ryan’s wish come true.
