Gwyneth Paltrow reflects on her style being labelled 'quiet luxury'

Gwyneth Paltrow has reflected on her style being labelled as "quiet luxury".

The actress and businesswoman has shared her opinion on the "quiet luxury" trend often being associated with her style.

"I wouldn't have branded it that myself," Gwyneth, 51, said of the trend in a new interview with Elle. "But if I look back, I feel like I've always dressed this way, which to me is: You wear better things. High-quality, beautifully made, trend-proof clothing. Which is exactly what we do at G. Label."

The Iron Man star added, "Lately, (people have) been talking about this being a trend, but I feel like this has always been the way that I've dressed."

Gwyneth launched her fashion brand, G. Label, in 2016 as part of her wellness and lifestyle brand Goop.

The Shallow Hal star then noted that having a Gen Z daughter, 19-year-old Apple, has "shifted (her) perspective" on the fashion industry.

"She is so consumed with waste and the environmental impact of the fast fashion industry. She would rather borrow my vintage things than buy anything new," she explained.

Gwyneth shares Apple, and her 17-year-old son Moses, with her ex-husband, British singer Chris Martin.
