Yahoo News Hackers post fake nudes on Riverdale stars' Twitters
Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse had to contend with some real-life drama this week when they both had their social media accounts hacked.
Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones in the drama series, had his Twitter account hacked on Monday (August 13) as a tweet appeared alleging that he had been involved in sexual acts while he was starring as Cody Martin in several Disney Channel shows.
The hacker also wrote a sexually explicit tweet about Sprouse's twin brother Dylan's reported girlfriend Barbara Palvin.

A clearly unhappy Reinhart, who is rumoured to be in a real-life relationship with Sprouse, let fans know that he hadn't been behind the messages, tweeting: "Cole's Twitter has been hacked BTW. F**k people who do that, seriously."
Unfortunately Reinhart, who stars as Betty Cooper in Riverdale, then had her own account hacked as a tweet appeared which read: "Shouldn't have talked s**t about us, here's to lili fans found this masterpiece in iCloud" – alongside a nude photo of a woman.
But Reinhart's eagle-eyed followers pointed out that the woman in the photo was missing a mole which the actress has, meaning that it was not an image of Reinhart.
Neither of the actors have yet commented on their own account being hacked but their fans were quick to leap to their defence online.
The Riverdale army is clearly strong – and so is the bond between Reinhart and Sprouse, as she recently posted a sweet tribute to him on social media.
"It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you," she wrote alongside a photo of Sprouse. "I'm so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure. Happy birthday, my love."
Riverdale airs on The CW in the US and Netflix in the UK, with season one also currently showing on 5STAR.
