Hail Overtakes Florida's Panama City Beach

Storms swept the Florida Panhandle on Thursday, April 27, dropping large hailstones on Panama City Beach, video shows.

Ryan Crawford said he filmed this footage from Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant in Panama City Beach as the hail hit on Thursday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a rip current statement, a tornado warning, and a special marine warning for the area.

Some Florida locations could expect to see up to 8 inches of rainfall by Sunday, the NWS warned. Credit: Ryan Crawford via Storyful
