Hail Pelts Plano as Storms Move Through Eastern Texas

Hail pelted Plano, Texas, on Thursday, April 20, as thunderstorms made their way through eastern parts of the state.

The thunderstorms were forecast to bring damaging hail and winds, the National Weather Service said. A tornado touched down in Tyler, the National Weather Service reported, causing damage.
