Large hail stones pummelled Abilene, Texas, as a line of serve storms swept through the San Angelo region on Sunday, May 7.

Footage taken by storm chaser Chad Casey shows large hail stones descend upon his car and splash in the flooded streets.

The National Weather Service has warned of ongoing flooding concerns in low-lying areas. Further storms are forecasted to impact Abilene overnight, bringing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Credit: Chad Casey via Storyful
