Hail Pummels Mineral Wells as Storms Roll Through Dallas-Fort Worth

Hail pummelled parts of Mineral Wells, Texas, as a line of storms swept through the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area on Thursday, March 16.

This footage, filmed by Chad Casey, shows hail hitting Carl Kessler Blvd in Mineral Wells, covering the road outside a Best Western hotel in hail stones.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued severe thunderstorm and tornado watch warnings for the region.

According to energy provider Oncor, over 9,000 customers were without power on Thursday evening as a result of the storm.
