Hailey and Justin Bieber expecting first child as sweet snaps shared

Superstar couple Justin and Hailey Bieber are expecting their first baby.

The Never Say Never crooner and model have confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post this evening (May 9), in snaps and video clips of a glamorous photoshoot.

With the caption simply tagging @haileybieber, the first artistic clip shows the celebrity couple embracing and kissing while Hailey holds an obvious baby bump and is dressed in an elegant white gown and veil.

It comes following speculations over whether the heiress would make a pregnancy announcement at the Met Gala after fans were sure she dropped "hints".

Further snaps show a more casually dressed Justin taking portrait photos of his wife of four years as she poses in a rolling green field, followed by an extra romantic photo of the pair kissing.

Fans have rushed to the comments to offer their well wishes, with some already coining the term "Baby Bieber".

One happy fan wrote: HAILEY!!! JUSTIN!! So cute congrats omg." While a second said: "Omg Haileyyy wishing you a smooth time as a mom." A third penned: "Oh my gosh!!!! I’m thrilled for yall!!!""

Earlier this week, speculation resurged over whether Hailey would spill the beans about a pregnancy, as fans pointed out several "clues" pointing to the outcome. These include her choice of "loose fitting clothes" at Coachella, while others saw the star liking baby content on TikTok, reports the Mirror.

One of the biggest "tip offs" was snapshots of Hailey and husband on a recent Hawaiian holiday, of her sporting a loose fitting dress and flip-flops, causing baby gossip to soar. Responding to the photos, one fan wrote on Twitter: "Ayo Hailey Bieber is definitely pregnant. That dress and those legs will never lie annddd they are also not attending Met Gala."
