Haileyville High School announces 2024 top graduates

May 9—Haileyville High School announces the Class of 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian.

Valedictorian

Alexander Lee Pease is the son of Kimberly and Christopher Pease of Hartshorne. His maternal grandparents are Louise Mitchell and the late Bill Mitchell of Hartshorne and paternal grandparents are Anke Pease and the late Arthur Pease of Hartshorne.

Alexander has attended Haileyville School since pre-school. He attends KTC and is enrolled in his second year of the East Program. Currently, he is taking concurrent classes through EOSC at Wilburton. After graduation, he plans to continue at EOSC to get his Associate's Degree in Business, then attend NSU in Tahlequah for his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Finance.

He is a member of BPA, a former 4-H Ambassador, member of OK Honor Society, and Haileyville Honor Scholar

Salutatorian

Shayden Cole is the daughter of Bryan & Melanie Cole. She has attended Haileyville School since her sixth grade year.

She is active in FFA, FCCLA, and FCA currently serving as FCCLA Vice-President and also FFA Chapter Reporter. Shayden has been on the Superintendent and Principal Honor rolls, she is a member of the OK Honor Society and a Haileyville Honor Scholar. She always strives to do her best thanking friends, teachers, and family for their support without them this would not be possible.

After graduation, she plans to attend NSU in Tahlequah to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Her goals and aspirations for the future is to live a happy and successful life. She believes the best way to achieve this goal is through hard work and determination.
