New hairdressing academy launches in Taunton to 'empower youth'

A NEW hairdressing academy has launched in Taunton to "empower youth and create jobs with state-of-the-art facilities".

The academy, Hair @ PA, will be located at 120 East Reach, Taunton, and has been created by the award-winning and Ofsted outstanding apprenticeship provider, Professional Apprenticeships.

The top-notch facilities are hoped to "revolutionise hairdressing education in the region", offering comprehensive training programs, and opportunities for local youth and the community.

A spokesperson for Professional Apprenticeships said: "Hair @ PA aims to become a cornerstone for aspiring hairdressers, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the hair industry through a mixture of apprenticeship and short course options.

"The academy boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including fully equipped training salons, modern classrooms, and the latest hairdressing technology and tools."

"Our mission is to empower young individuals with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the exciting world of hairdressing!"

The academy will offer hands-on courses taught by "expert instructors" on basic hairdressing, advanced styling, colour treatments, and more. It will also help graduates find job placements after their training.

Hair @ PA's grand launch will take place on July 15 at 4pm at the East Reach venue.

The event will feature live demonstrations, tours of the facility, and an opportunity to meet the instructors and staff, along with Cocktails and Canapés. Prospective students and the local community are all invited to attend, and sign-up details can be found at hair-pa.co.uk.
