Halifax General Election 2024 results in full

People from across Halifax have turned out to vote in this year's General Election as they select their new MPs to represent the area.

Across Halifax, candidates from a number of different political parties have stood as they attempt to become the next MPs for the region. Now, the votes are being totalled up to determine the winner.

In addition, this General Election marks the first since constituency boundaries were redrawn. As a result, many will find themselves within new boundaries.

The results of the election are being counted up throughout the night of Thursday, July 4 into the morning of Friday, July 5, and most should be known by the morning. Some may take longer, but all should be known by the end of the day.
