Hallmark Star Brennan Elliott's Wife Camilla Row Undergoes Surgery amid Cancer Diagnosis

The 'Gift of Peace' actor's wife reportedly underwent a “mass excision” surgery that included the removal of her belly button

Brennan Elliott's wife Camilla Row is sharing health update after she revealed that she would be getting a major surgery to treat her stage IV gastric cancer.

On Friday, June 7, Row shared a post to her private Instagram account, per Heavy, that featured her sleeping in a hospital bed as her Hallmark star husband sat by her bedside as he read a script.

Elliott shared a link to Heavy’s article to his Instagram Story on Saturday, June 8. The outlet reported that The Gift of Peace actor's wife underwent a "mass excision" surgery, which included the removal of her belly button to help fight her gastric cancer.

"Brennan has been pulling double duty, prepping for a movie & coming to see me daily, making the best of a makeshift office in my hospital room as I nap," Row wrote, per Heavy.

Row also wrote that she was "desperately missing" her and Elliott's two kids, daughter Luna, 9, and son Liam, 12, the outlet reported. She received a blood transfusion and will remain hospitalized as her doctors attempt to control her pain and nausea.

The Hallmark film star first announced Row had been diagnosed with stage IV gastric cancer in a an Instagram post in April 2022.

"Those closest to me know that my wife Cami has had several bouts with cancer in the past but now she embarks on a new journey as a Stage IV metastatic gastric cancer patient," he wrote.

Elliott added that sharing his the medical update felt "scary and exposing," but he also said he wants to try to help "even one person" out there.

In March 2023, Elliott shared another update stating that he was on "cloud nine" after Row had a biopsy that showed no cancer.

"It's been such an impossible journey, but today is a day to rejoice in God's mercy and grace," the actor wrote. "From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone of you who has prayed for us and encouraged us along the way. I can't put into words how thankful and grateful we are as a family for your support!"

However, per Heavy, Row shared another update on March 27 this year, revealing that she undergone a laparoscopic check of her peritoneum and that her doctors had found cancer once again.

"Two out of five samples came back positive for cancer," she wrote at the time.

"I know now my cancer is trying to comeback in the most ferocious and sneaky way," she added, noting that she had just had a scan less than one month prior.

According to the Mayo Clinic, gastric cancer, or stomach cancer, occurs when cells grow out of control in the stomach.

On May 20, Elliott celebrated his wife as they attended an event fundraising for City of Hope, a cancer hospital in Los Angeles where Row has had surgery.

"Had a special and rare opportunity to get dressed up and have a date night for a fundraising event for @cityofhope hosted by the incredible patient advocate @bonniehunt_real & brilliant surgeon Yanghee Woo, MD," he wrote, alongside a photo of him and his wife dressed up for the occasion.

"Moving the needle one millimeter at a time requires a collaborative effort and I am so honored to be apart of this impressive bunch," he added.
