Hampton Court festival line up confirmed including Tom Jones, Paloma Faith and Björn Again

With one of the most unique backgrounds on the festival circuit, Hampton Court Palace festival is back with a star studded line up. Over one week of performances will take place between June 11-22 on the grounds of the historic property

Global sensations Björn Again are back at the Tudor palace with a jam-packed show of all the ABBA hits. Saturday June 15, will be just the latest in over 5,000 performances across 71 countries.

Following previous sell-out performances, National Treasure Tom Jones will open this year’s festival on Tuesday 11 June. The concert will see him perform a string of hits from across his five and half decade career, including It’s Not Unusual’, ‘What’s New Pussycat’, and ‘Sex Bomb’.

As well as the usual faces this year the festival, presented by heycar, will have a first. In a completely new addition to the line up Hampton Court will host a live podcast recording. The Rest Is History podcast will take to the stage to fittingly host a show on Henry VIII and the Tudor period. Hosted by esteemed historians Dominic Sandbrook and Tom Holland, The Rest Is History podcast is the highest-ranked UK history podcast on both Spotify and Apple and will be bringing history to life in the stunning 500-year-old courtyard on Sunday 16 June.

To make the most of the grounds, guests can pre-order one of two picnics that can be enjoyed as the sun sets. Picnic options include ‘The Courtier's Best of British Picnic’ or ‘The King's Gourmet Hamper’, which are both provided by British Fine Foods and feature meat and vegetarian options, as well as a bottle of fine wine or Champagne. Picnics can be pre-ordered with tickets or added to existing reservations.

Other special extras you can choose from include a welcome glass of Champagne or a charming fountain-side gazebo with delicious refreshments. For those wanting an even fancier dining experience, a three-course dinner within Hampton Court’s State Apartments is available by selecting the King’s Dining Experience.
