Hans Zimmer tour 2019: How to get tickets for the composer's UK orchestra shows

Music by Hans Zimmer will be celebrated with a series of newly announced tour shows, coming to the UK and Ireland in March 2019.

Fans of the revered composer will have the chance to see his acclaimed work performed by a live orchestra during five dates next year.

The tour begins in Manchester on March 20, before visiting Wembley Arena on March 23.

Zimmer is known for his soundtrack work on such films as the Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar. He is also currently working on the upcoming Lion King reboot, starring the likes of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Beyonce.

The tour will be overseen by conductor Gavin Greenaway, while the orchestrations have all been curated by Zimmer.

Zimmer's last performance in London also came at Wembley Arena, where the composer performed in June 2017.

The World of Hans Zimmer tour will consist of the following shows.

March 20 - Manchester Arena

March 21 - Birmingham Arena

March 22 - Glasgow Hydro

March 23 - Wembley Arena

March 25 - Dublin, 3 Arena
