Hanson regret never meeting Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson is one star the brothers from Hanson admit they wish they had met — despite describing him as 'an unusual human'.
Speaking to Kate Thornton on White Wine Question Time, the 'Mmmbop' singers said the 'legend' was a huge inspiration for the band.
Taylor Hanson, 39, replied to Thornton's question about what they would have asked him had they met him, saying he wasn't sure he really had a question in mind.
"[It's] that organic connection where you meet somebody that just gets it," he explained. "Obviously [he was an] incredible performer, incredible legend, incredible talent. I think it would just be, honestly, about the opportunity."

Reeling off a list of huge names such as Elton John and Billy Joel that the band had met since their rise to stardom as teenagers in the late 90s, Taylor said there were a couple of times when they had been 'within striking distance' of meeting him but it had not happened.
Referring to the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson and accusations of child sexual abuse, oldest brother Isaac said: "Obviously he was an unusual human, but a very talented human."
Jackson always denied accusations against him.
Taylor agreed: "Everyone knows all the factors, but he was a legend. He was a huge inspiration," before admitting he didn't spend a lot of time thinking about it, but it was more of a 'shoulda, woulda, coulda'.
Hanson shot to fame 25 years ago aged 11, 14 and 16 with their song 'Mmmbop' and told Thornton about the impact of having that much fame at such a young age.
While Taylor admitted he couldn't hold on to a lot of the 'extreme experiences' from that time for too long, he did also say that the time allowed them to meet many of their heroes.
Isaac also remembered an interaction before their first record came out, when they were working with producer Mark Hudson, who Thornton told them had also been a voice coach in early series of X-Factor.

The band had been writing songs with Hudson, who had also worked with Aerosmith writing songs.
Isaac said as 'huge' Aerosmith fans, they had ended up talking to lead singer Steven Tyler on the phone via Hudson, after admitting that a reason they wanted to work with him was because of his links with the band who also sang I Don't Want To Miss A Thing.
"He said: 'Oh, well, I'll just call Steven right now.' And that was really rad. That was really, really cool," Isaac told Thornton.
He said that led to several times where they ran into Tyler at various different points, with his wife also being from Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the Hanson brothers are.
Hanson are about to tour their latest album Red, Green, Blue in 20 different countries.
