Happy Birthday Lily Collins! The Tolkien star's best outfits and upcoming films for the year

Happy birthday, Lily Collins! The Tolkien star turns 30 today. And however she plans to mark three decades, the star has plenty to celebrate.

The English-American actress has had a very busy year so far, starting with her hit BBC mini-series Les Miserables. Collins has three additional films slated for release this year, the most talked-about being her upcoming picture Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, with the trailer provoking controversy due to Collins' co-star Zac Efron's portrayal of Ted Bundy.

Collins will also be playing the role of Edith Bratt in Tolkien - the wife and muse of J.R.R. Tolkien who inspired his story Beren and Luthien. And finally, her film Halo of Stars is currently in post-production.

There's a chance that she could have had a very wholesome set of early birthday celebrations, as she and her mother Jill Tavelman stepped out to celebrate St Patrick's Day yesterday on Lily Collins' Instagram. Rather than drinking pints of green beer however, the pair appeared to indulge in a spot of vintage hunting; something that makes sense given her mother works as a "purveyor of resurrected oddities".

There was no sign of her father musician Phil Collins, who is currently divorced from Jill and who Lily also publicly addressed in her book Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me, Collins. In her letter, she forgave him for "not always being there when I needed and for not being the dad I expected."

One person who might be celebrating with Lily this year is the To All The Boys I've Loved Before star Noah Centineo, who she starred in a music video for ARTY'S Save Me Tonight. In it, they played a couple who were friends that became lovers and the video was directed by Centineo.

Since then, the pair has been spotted putting flirtatious comments on one another's Instagram accounts. Most notably on Centineo's Calvin Klein underwear ad, under which Collins wrote, "I never look that good when I lounge."
