In some truly am-ozzzzz-ing news, Happy Endings could finally be coming back to screens!

The cult hit sitcom originally ran from 2011 to 2013, and starred Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr and the always-brilliant Casey Wilson as six very quirky friends living their best lives in Chicago.

Despite the fact that Happy Endings had (and continues to have) a huge cult following, ABC cancelled the sitcom after a mere three seasons… and revival efforts didn't get anywhere at the time.

It's taken over six years but ABC apparently has seen the error of its ways, since the network's president Karey Burke told media at the TCA press tour that she's hearing rumblings about a comeback (via The Hollywood Reporter).

"I will never say never; I'm hearing whispers," Burke teased "That is a dream of a lot of people at ABC. I'm hearing that there's a remote possibility of something. It's at the very beginning [stages]."

Burke added that she'd be hugely supportive of bringing back Happy Endings since she was a big fan of the sitcom back in the day.

"Happy Endings was certainly one of my favorite ABC shows," Burke explained. "One of the things [ABC comedy head Erin Wehrenberg] and I bonded over when she came over [from Warner Bros TV] to take over comedy development was a desire to do a show like Happy Endings, which led to a conversation about Happy Endings.

"So, I think she's exploring what's possible."

We're all for this, but can we request that Scotty and The Car Czar please come back for the revival? That would be suh cyhut!
