Harris discusses reproductive freedom at campaign event: Watch live

Vice President Harris will address abortion access Monday afternoon in a campaign stop in La Crosse, Wis., during her third visit to the critical swing state this year.

Harris has taken the lead in the White House’s efforts to restore national protections for reproductive rights. The issue has taken on greater urgency for abortion-rights advocates as several states have moved to codify strong restrictions on abortions. Last week, Harris visited Arizona, where the majority-Republican state Legislature continues to back a ban on all abortions other than those to save the life of the mother.

The campaign event is scheduled to start at 3:45 p.m. EDT.
