On April 16, 2024, Harry Connick Jr. and wife Jill Goodacre marked a milestone: 30 years of marriage!

"it's official - we have been married 30 years!" the singer and actor wrote on X the next day. "happy anniversary, my sweet girl... i am everything i am because of you. and yes, you are one fine thing."

The stars met by chance in 1990, he recalled to Glamour in 2007.

"I was staying in L.A. Jill walked past me at the hotel pool, and I introduced myself," he said of first seeing the Victoria's Secret model. "She had a really strong handshake. If that had been it between us, just that moment, I would've thought about it for the rest of my life."

"What's really funny is that [Jill] called her mom that night and said, 'I met the guy I'm going to marry,' " he continued. "Of course, she didn't let me know."
