Harry Potter star confirmed for Liverpool Comic Con 2024

Comic Con has announced Harry Potter star Mark Williams as its latest guest.

Comic Con returns to the Exhibition Centre from Saturday, November 9 to Sunday, November 10 Mark is best known to fans for his role as Arthur Weasley, the man at the head of the Weasley family in Harry Potter.

Others may be familiar with his work in different projects including The Borrowers, where he played Exterminator Jeff, Red Dwarf where he played the role of Olaf Peterson, or the eponymous Father Brown.

Fans are thrilled with the announcement with several speculating a Weasley reunion could be on the cards. Emily Wright said: "OMG! Now bring Bonnie Wright and the twin boys from Harry Potter." Roxy Fox added: "So cool! You should do a group photo with the Wesley family or with a duo with Rupert."

Mark will appear on both Saturday and Sunday events alongside Marvel actor Sebastian Stan, Supernatural's Jensen Ackles and Jim Beaver and Dragon Age creator Felicia Day.
